The Luther Burbank Memorial Foundation Guild
The Guild's primary purpose and objective is to support the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. Members meet monthly to plan and implement fundraising and social events. Service members run the beverage service at performances.
Special Event Volunteers
Volunteers are utilized in a variety of areas: advance planning, artist coordination, marketing, and special events.
Volunteer Ushers
Ushers collect tickets and attend to guests' special needs at performances. Ushers work events in the Main Theater, Harry A. Merlo Theater, and other areas as needed.
Administrative Office Volunteers
Volunteers assist administrative staff in creating, developing and presenting special programs. They help with mailings, word processing, data input, telephones, filing, etc. Bookkeepers, newsletter editors, public relations and marketing assistants are often needed to augment staff. Graphic Designers, photographers and writers help with specific projects as needed. Experience with Macintosh or MS Windows applications such as Word, FileMaker Pro, or Raiser's Edge is desirable.
