The Legendary Carol Burnett to "Bump Up The Lights"
for Exclusive & Intimate Santa Rosa Performances

Burnett Appears July 8th & 9th at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts
Marking Her Return to the Stage and
Providing Her Only
West Coast Engagement This Year

Santa Rosa, CA (June 14, 2006) - Six-time Emmy Award winner Carol Burnett is coming to Santa Rosa July 8 and 9 for an exclusive West-Coast's only engagement at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. Called Laughter & Reflection with Carol Burnett: A Conversation with Carol where the Audience Asks the Questions, the show features one of the world's true living legends in entertainment talking and joking one-on-one with the audience.

As a weekly visitor in America 's living rooms, Carol Burnett always opened The Carol Burnett Show with a few minutes of hilarious banter with the audience. Laughter And Reflection: A Conversation With Carol Where The Audience Asks The Questions is a rare opportunity to talk to Carol in this same enjoyable and intimate audience-interactive format. Carol says, "I love the spontaneity of these evenings. I never know what anybody is going to say or do or ask." Com e with your questions and share in the fun with one of the country's most loved and respected performers.

Carol Burnett's July 8th and 9th performances at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts mark her return to the stage following a several year break. Recently, Burnett has been working to perpetuate her daughter Carrie Hamilton's love of the performing arts, following Carrie's death from cancer in 2002 at age 38. Carol has created The Carrie Hamilton Foundation which is currently supporting the fund-raising efforts to establish The Carrie Hamilton Theater at The Pasadena Playhouse complex. The Carrie Hamilton Theater will support the works of young playwrights, directors, and actors as well as embody an outreach program for at-risk children to expose them to the world of theater and the value of their own creative powers.

A six-time Emmy Award winner, Carol Burnett has demonstrated such versatility since ending her 11 year run of The Carol Burnett Show that she is now as widely recognized for her dramatic abilities as she is for her comedic and musical talents. Americans have fondly bestowed more People's Choice Awards upon her than any other woman in the award show's history. In 2003 she was a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honor and in 2005 received The Presidential Medal of Freedom Award. Some of her other notable awards include five Golden Globes, the Peabody Award for Friendly Fire , and the Ace Award for Between Friends with Elizabeth Taylor. She has enjoyed the kind of career that most performers are only able to dream of, moving easily from the stage to television, from feature films to films for television, and from variety specials to music and comedy specials.

Tickets ($49, $59, $69, $99) for the presentation of Laughter & Reflection with Carol Burnett: A Conversation with Carol where the Audience Asks the Questions on July 8 and 9 are available at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts Box Office, 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa, by phone at 707-546-3600, or online at www.wellsfargocenterarts.com .
